Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at The Journey a great one! We are not a perfect church. We are a church of fellow strugglers. We don’t always do the right thing or say the right thing. But, despite our struggles and mistakes, we still love our God and love each other. That is what we hope you will notice when you visit our church. We hope you notice a lot of love, a lot of smiles, and a lot of joy. And we hope you notice that some of that love, that joy, and those smiles are directed at you. We really want you here!
SERVICE TIMES
The Journey meets every weekend on Sundays and Wednesdays at 916 Dinah Shore Blvd., Winchester TN:
· Worship Services: Sundays at 9 am & 11 am
· Wednesday Evening Small Group: Wednesdays at 6:00pm
What can I expect?
HOW LONG IS A Journey Community Church SERVICE?
In total, a Journey service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the Journey band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastor or elders will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
Wednesday night Small Group starts at 6:00pm. We have so much fun sharing and laughing together. We will make you our friend if you give us the opportunity! Come! Be our Guest and find the HOW TO WALK IN FAITH! We try to be done by 8:30pm. If you are looking for friends we are looking for you!
WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT The Journey?
Sunday's at The Journey are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our Family.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at The Journey, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Journey Kids ministry is offered at every Journey Sunday service for kids ages infant through Grade 8.
